ब्रज की माटी, कदम्ब की छाँव
Kadamb Farms is our family's land in the village of Ajhai Khurd, near Mathura — tended with care and respect for the soil of Braj.
Braj Bhoomi
ब्रज भूमि
Braj is the country of fields, groves and villages along the Yamuna around Mathura — Vrindavan, Gokul, Govardhan, Nandgaon and Barsana. It is here that Krishna was born, spent his childhood herding cows, and played with Radha and the gopis.
Every year, devotees walk the 84-kos Braj parikrama, circling this land on foot as an act of devotion. For them, Braj is not just a place on the map; every grove, pond and hill holds a story.
The kadamb tree belongs to those stories. On the banks of the Yamuna, under its shade and among its golden, round flowers, Krishna is said to have played his flute. That is why our farm carries its name.
Braj Raj
ब्रज रज
Braj Raj is the soil of this land, held sacred because Krishna's feet walked on it. Pilgrims touch it to their foreheads, carry a little home, and bow to it as they would to a temple.
The Bhagavata tells of Uddhava, Krishna's wise friend, who wished he could be born as a humble shrub in Vrindavan — only so the dust from the gopis' feet might fall on him. Poets and saints of Braj, Raskhan and Surdas among them, sang the same longing: to belong to this dust.
To farm this soil is, for us, a privilege and a responsibility.
About
Son of Ratan Singh and Premwati, Tejpal grew up with roots in the village of Ajhai Khurd near Mathura. He has spent more than two decades in industry and business — in Punjab, and in Mumbai's steel pipe and valve trade.
In 2027 he returns home to Braj, to be with his parents and to farm the family's fields. Kadamb Farms is that homecoming: a simple life, close to the soil, built with patience for the generations that come after.
